Upon submitting your registration, an automated email is sent to the email address you provided. Within the body of that email is a hyperlink that needs to be clicked (or copied and pasted into a browser window) - this action verifies your email address and activates your account. Until this is done, you will not be able to do more than view the forum.
Also note that if your Outlook client is set to generate an "Out Of Office" divert, or you are using an external spam filter (i.e. spamarrest.com) which requires manual action (click) by someone here to verify this site as a "real person" and not a spammer - our verification email will possibly never reach you and you will be listed as "Awaiting User Email Confirmation" with minimal permissions.
