Can do I use more than two TV tuners in MCE 2005?:

MCE officially supports only two TV tuners but many users have added more by using registry hacks. See this thread for details on using 3 or more tuners.

If you wish to use two tuners it is strongly recommended that MCE is installed with both tuners already in place.

During the TV Signal setup process, MCE will ask you which tuner/s to setup. Leave both selected and continue through the setup. MCE will then scan for channels using one of the cards only. It does not scan using the other card as there is no need.

MCE will then allow you to view Live TV on one channel whilst recording on another,  or you may record two different channels at once.
