EDIT :
DUGG 5.0 is now available for download.
Download link is :
http://www.filehosting.cc/download.php?id=992B6E96
Note this site is a free file hosting site and it requires you to enter a number (to prevent automated downloads) and wait 30 seconds (to view the advertising).
Please read the instructions.txt in the zip because a couple of things have changed.
The most significant change is that you now must select individual channels for download rather than "services" which contained a group of channels.
A list of available channels is included in the instructions.txt and dugg.ini files, and they are numbered to reduce typos.
Enjoy, and feedback is always welcome !Last edited by guidegrabber; 6th August 2006 at 03:54 PM.

Re: dugg release
guide.xml is the inbetween process
xmltv.xml -> guide.xml -> guide.bin
if u r getting guide.xml errors then it has not processed ur xmltv.xml file correctly if at all.

Re: dugg release
Thanks Monster .. that makes sense now. I planned to send you a PM but according to the forum listing you were off-line.
I presume then that the xmltv.xml is mal-formed somehow. Can I send you a snippet, because it looks OK to me but perhaps there is some subtle formatting error.
PM if that's OK.

Re: dugg release
Thanks Dugg.
I have the following channels (for Melbourne)
channel=2
channel=5
channel=65
channel=67
channel=70
channel=71
channel=72
It seems I can only get data for Channel 2 (ABC2), and 72 (Ten Melbourne).
No other Data is being downloaded (from the GUI, i see This day is not available)

Sorry guys I found the problem.
It was a missing cookie !
An update is out that will fix it. Autoupdate will take care of the fine details for you.

Re: dugg release
Is there a simple way to add all the Foxtel Digital channels?

It's a simple text file so there's no reason someone can't make up a list of channel=XXX and post it for others to cut-and-paste.
The reasons for needing to add the channels separately are complicated, but basically come down to the fact that when using "services" many of the channels were duplicated. For example, ABC 2 is available on almost every service. When grabbing 2 services, ABC 2 was grabbed twice, causing all sorts of conflicts. The new system is also more efficient with bandwidth. Previously if you chose the foxtel service you had to download all the channels and just ignored the ones you did not want. With this system you only download the ones you will actually use.
And good news.....The "day is not available" cookie problem is fixed. The program will now set its own cookie automatically. Version 5.1 includes this and it should update itself automatically.

Re: dugg release
Hi guidegrabber,
Can't seem to download the file. I get error saying access key is invalid (or similar) after clicking the download button. Any suggestions.
Thanks.
