Unable to download TV guide

I recently had to perform a channel scan which worked well but since then I have been unable to download the TV guide to Media Centre. I get a message that says "No guide listings are available for your Region. Select setup to see whether guide listings are available for your region."
I then go to set up and follow the prompts with the result being "No listings are available for your region."
Prior to the channel scan I was able to download thru EPG runner, now I can't.
Someone please help.!
