Question Sound Woes

Heya fellow MCE freaks *8)

I have Fusion HDTV with ATI 9200 card, and it works 99%, however when time shifting, or watching a recording, if I fast forward...I lose sound, I then have to watch LiveTV for a sec to activate the sound again. Has anyone had similar problems, can any one help a lonely noob like myself *8)

Thanks guys.

Re: Sound Woes

Hi kfarrell,

I can't specifically help you with your problem but I also have a Fusion and an ATI 9200SE and I don't have the problem you are getting.

All I can suggest is to try updating drivers for your audio devices and possibly try different codecs.

Cheers

Thanks, I'll give NVidia codec a go, reading everything, it seems to be the pick of the litter.

Just an update, nvidia codec works fine now, I had to uninstall powerdvd to get it working, even though the codec checker said nvidia's was the preffered.
