messenger failing

hello
i`m using mce 2005 with xp
and recently i got this message every time media centre starts - messenger failed to start.
It goes away by itself but it`s annoying
I wonder what can be done to get rid of it for good
thank you in advance

Re: messenger failing

77j7,

Simple solution,

Go to "Add or remove programs" in control pannel, got to "Add or remove windows components" and then remove messenger.

Reboot your system and all should be well.

Craig.
