Channel settings revert back to default ( Dvico )

Hi
Th problem is that the channels are set in a logical order as per their station number ie prime - 7 etc..
recorded tv is set up no probs
then at random times the channels will revert back to thier original scanned positons. This mucks up the recording sesions and sends the wife into a flat spin.
I've read various threads and tried to fix this problem but, alas, to no avail
Ive tried drivers updates, decoders and so on.
Ultimately Ive formated and reinstalled.
Still the problem percists.
Please help or at least point me in the right direction.
I have a Dvico DVB-T Dual tuner and running XP mce 2005.
Intel D945GBO M/Board with onboard Graphics, 3.00Ghz pent d, 1 G RAM
250 G HDD

P.S. this has only started since moving to Canberra. Hmmm join the dots on that one!

Regards
Rog
