Can't find images from hard drive only empty folders

There was a post a while back with regard to not being able to find video files on external hard drives which was solved really easily with the help of a registry edit.

The previous post is here...
MCE can't find videos from harddrive only empty folders

I'm having the same problem with my image files in that I know the image files are where they should be but Media Center says differently.

Is there a similar registry edit to solve this problem in the same way as the problem for video files was solved?

Any help/advice would be very welcome.
