Support Forum?

Is there going to be a support forum or should we use general discussion

Re: Support Forum?

Brent - we can have what we want here :P

Most of the individual forums could be broadly classed as support forums I s'pose- but if there's a specific suggestion or if we develop along a certain direction - we can add whatever's needed.

Is there any specific subject or part of MCE you were thinking about?

Re: Support Forum?

I think

Lose the Australian TV Guide forum, thats more of a topic than a whole forum, and suits the general discussion forum

Add a Software support forum in the software section
and add a Hardware support forum in the hardware section

Re: Support Forum?

OK Brent - I made a few changes and moved a few topics to more relevant "homes" - but decided to keep the TV Guide section for the time being. I think it'll become a very topical area once it gets going officially, or if someone comes up with a third party fix using something like the D1 system that works quite well with the Linux based MythTV.

Hope you guys are OK with the new layout - any other suggestions - let me know - it's always gonna be a work in progress

Re: Support Forum?

Another Idea,

Either a link on the main page or a read only forum that after people do tutorials they get placed in the read only forum.
so it saves people having to read through lots of post
