Hi i am interested in how you have got the 2 to work together in media centre as it would be good to incorperate fm radio with digital tv with out a plugin.

Just one word: Ghost

Ghost it...keep it in a safe place...otherwise those Microsoft Ninja Assassins might come around and wipe it out before you post here

Talking Re: DTV and Analog TV Works (TOGETHER)

1. First set up TV Guide. I used OZtivo. using Bladerunner3

2. Download latest Guide.

3. Setup DTV and make sure all channels work.
ad listings to channels for TVguide. close media center

4. Save reg settings for DTV card services\video\tuners\ {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}\ {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}

and Setting\TVConfig

5. see what tvguide it uses \services\epg currentepg and copy the currentepg from mydocuments\all users\application data\microsoft\ehome\epg the eml and sdf that matches the reg settings for epg to a different location.

6. Now setup media center for foxtel through av with ir blaster.
and setup guide. make sure channels work.( check other posts)

7 close media center and copy eml and sdf file back to mydocuments\all users\application data\microsoft\ehome\epg and edit registry to match the file name \services\epg currentepg.

8. now add the registry for the dtv and TVconfig back to the registry, and then change
services\video\tuners\ {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}\ {xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx}

Analog Card
RecordOrder = 1
RecordPrefered = 0xffffffff
WatchOrder = 1
WatchPrefered = 0xffffffff

DTV =
RecordOrder = 0
RecordPrefered = 0
WatchOrder = 0
WatchPrefered = 0

9. set tvconfig to 1,1,4,1

10. open media center and check to see if dtv is working.

11. now you will have "add missing channels" button. all added channels will go through av and change with blaster.

12. add all required channels and add listing to the channels.

13 all finished enjoy foxtel and DTV.

If its confusing message me and please do comment if it works for you
or if there is a different config you want to try

Re: DTV and Analog TV Works (TOGETHER)

I found an easier way of setting up fm radio wich will run straight from radio section.
I don't have epg and found if i tuned in analogue first then copied and printed out reg for analogue tuner.
Then reset up media centre for digital including extra tuners.
Then modified analogue tuner in reg with what i printed out.

yes there is live in the media centre analogue and digital running side by side love it.
and the bonus is record thee digatal at same time gotta luv that.
