gameloader.exe and powerdvd8 issues

New member here with a small bit of an issue here....

I'm trying to setup a shortcut to launch PowerDVD 8 Ultra from the MCE interface (2005, not Vista) and I managed to get the launching part working using gameloader, a registry entry, and a shortcut file - but the problem I'm having is that PowerDVD's controls don't work when it's launched through gameloader.

I have to actually click the source icon, then click on the drive with the disk I want to play. This simply cannot be used every day, 'cause the MCE machine doesn't have a keyboard or mouse, just the remote!

I was mainly using gameloader because it returns focus/restarts the MCE gui after closing powerdvd, but if somebody else knows how to do this, I'm all ears.

Thanks!
