Can i have an extender on Windows based computer

Does anyone know if you can have an extender from MCE 2005 to a windows based computer. (Watch recorder or live tv on a windows based computer) Also if i put MCE 2005 on my windows based computer will it be able to connect and stream live and recorder tv?

No you can't, this used to be an MS project called SoftSled but they canned it.
