VideoRedo unable to open DVRMS file

I have just installed VideoRedo so that I can cut out the ads from my recordings but when I went to open one of my DVRMS files it said that it couldn't open it.

Any ideas on what may be causing this? (I didn't have a second one to try)

(I just realised that I posted this in MCE2005. It should be in Vista)

Reboot your system and give it another try.

Re: VideoRedo unable to open DVRMS file

Cheers that worked.

I am just wondering how I can make adjustments after I have run the ad wizard (or what ever it is called) as it was out on some of them

Re: VideoRedo unable to open DVRMS file

My suggestion is to not rely on the wizard, just run the ad detective and then manually go through and make sure that it just detected ads. Channel 7 puts a lot of ads together with very little black screen break, and a lot of shows like "Scrubs" have black screen breaks between scenes.
Regards,
Gunner22.

Click on help
Technical support
2 thirds of the way down the contents box on the left side you will see a heading called using add detective. click on the + sign to open it up.

Add detective is a fiddley thing to set up.
