MCEtunes

Hey people

looking for a bit of advice - I`m thinking of buying this bit of software but I`m a bit concerned because it means I will have to install iTunes on my mce rig - codec alert!!

I know the current iTunes automatically throws quick time and stuff on - does anyone have any experience with this software?

Cheers

Re: MCEtunes

Jaiidan, This is a great piece of software and i thoroughly recommend it if you have music purchased from the iTunes store or encoded in AAC format which you wish to play back in MCE2005.

I have never seen any adverse effects from the Quicktime or iTunes software on any aspect of Media Centre. The only pain in the arse is the seemingly endless stream of updates Apple seems to unleash.

Cheers,

BA

Re: MCEtunes

Hey there

Just an update for anyone reading - took the plunge and bought the pro version of MCETunes .... working like a charm so far.

Googled and used this http://www.yvg.com/itunesartimporter.shtml for displaying album art..

All good stuff
