Visualisations Anyone? G-Force

Anyone use visualisations when listening to music through MCE?

I downloaded the trial version of this one and loved it so much I spent the $20USD on the Gold version about 10 minutes later. Its very very good IMHO.

enjoy.

Any others that people would like to recommend?

Re: Visualisations Anyone? G-Force

Hello,

Yes i would recommend Twisted Pixel http://www.visolu.com/TwistedPixel/
This Vis will load Milkdrop presets (The ones used in XBMC)

Does a pretty good job as far as Visuals in WMP. I have to say though that the Visuals in XBOX Media Center (XBMC) are in a completely different league... sooo much better.

I've never been able to find really good visuals for WMP. Gforce is about the only one.

I used to use Sonique player http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonique_(media_player)
This had some of the most amazing and responsive visuals i've ever seen. Unfortunately none have been ported for WMP.

Re: Visualisations Anyone? G-Force

I like using the HTPC for music but I've always found the normal visualisations fairly boring. Late last year I was having a look around on the Microsoft website and in the free downloads for visualisations there was a slideshow.

Nothing new about this as there are many screen savers that do the same thing, but essentially, instead of the phsycodelic lines dancing on the screen we now get a display of random photos. The song titles etc still pop up in the corner of the screen and the slideshow just starts whenever we put music on.

I can't remember the name of it, but it was a free visualisation from the MS website so I wouldn't be too hard to find again.
