SUBTITLES ALWAYS ON power dvd and my movies

Hey guys, hows this 3rd post in 1 night. How greedy can one guy get.
Anyway.
Here's another problem
I am using POWER DVD 6 as my decoder (checked using utility)
When I play dvd through XP mode all works normal
However when I use my movies 2.2 the subtitles are always on, I have checked my settings and it clearly says CAPTIONING is off.
Any ideas ?

Hi ode1

I can't remember the exact setting (I'm not in front of my mce box) but captioning is for closed captions not for subtitles. There is also a subtitle dropdown whcih needs to be set to 'none' for no subtitles.

You were right
It was set to ENGLISH which I asumed was the setting once it was on
Set it to NONE and all worked well
