Exclamation Guide Setup in MCE

Hey GUys
Im setting up BRP for my mce, after entering in 0000 as the postcode, it attempts to download the epg data. As this computer is networked to my main pc but does not have an internet connection (different ip ranges, deliberate) it justr tries to download the guide.

HOw can i fix this...
Q1. do i click manual or automatic updating in MCE
Q2. is an internet connection actually needed (i know, but i mean for within mce)

as i actually want to download the guide data though my main pc (using BRP) and copy them across to my MCE. ((is this possible. if so can you please tell how ))

Thanks

Re: Guide Setup in MCE

Could you on your main PC select the output file for the guide data to a networked folder? Dont know about networking permissions within ehome directory.

Then update guide/get latest listings option

Re: Guide Setup in MCE

it will not get natively without and internet connection. ur would have to use an old quickguide FORCED method.
