Free Darwin EPG

Well I'm feeling generous today. Its time to give back to the community

I have written EPG that is availible to darwin users only (yes we do exist ). It is hosted on an IIS/FreeBSD Server at my office. it includes FTA and AUSTAR data. this is based off Bladerunner 3.0 (thanks monster your a champ)

1. If you are using 1 x Analog Tuner for Austar you simply need to run the reg file, setup the guide with the postcode 0000, select "Austar Darwin", all channel info is provided so no other setup required.

2. If you are using Digital Tuners for FTA you simply need to run the reg file, setup the guide with the postcode 0000, select "Austar Darwin", you will need to map to Guide Channel to your scanned channels.

3. If you are using Digital/Analog Tuners for FTA + Austar you simply need to run the reg file, setup the guide with the postcode 0000, select "Austar Darwin", you will need to map to Guide Channel to your scanned channels.

you will need to PM me with an email address so I can send the .reg file and instructions. (this simply points the guide download path to my sever)

If there are Mythtv users out there let me know and I will setup an .xml file download.

feedback is welcomed.

Enjoy guys

Re: Free Darwin EPG

Notice to Darwin EPG users,

I done some major reconfiguration on the system on monday 18th which will be finished by the end of today 19th. So please re-download you guide tomorrow morning.

Whats new:

Updated data sources
Shortening of channel names, eg: Disney Channel = Disney, Southern Cross = SCTV. this is to be view the channels in the guide properly.
Catagories such as movies now work properly across ALL Stations
EPG is now completely automated and is updated daily by 12:00am
Guide data is now more acurate

For users that are just using analog, redownload the guide and all changes will appear. for analog+digital users unfortunately you will need to remap the channel names to the channel numbers

Series recording may also be affected you will need to recreate them.

Sorry for the inconvenience hope you will enjoy the update

Re: Free Darwin EPG

Thanks EPG Stream, more power to the people

Notice to Darwin EPG users,

Guide changes are finished as of 6:00am,

FIXES: series recording is now working properly. 6d15hr guide time. Guide updates daily at 12:30pm recommend changing mce guide time using this prog: http://mcesoft.nl/index.php?option=c...=96&Itemid=153

TODO: Catagories arent working across all channels, eg: Movies catagory is only on FTA channels. CNN and Nat Geo Adventure need to be added (adventure1)

Re: Free Darwin EPG

Added CNBC Australia listings.

Changed guide update time to 6:00am, as per requests

Austar listings are now acurate to the minute eg. (7:02 am to 7:36am) for current day.
users will need to download guide at 6:00am to recieve acurate listings for that day.
