Video file conversion to view on Xbox360

Hi

I have my xbox set up as a media center extender, attached to my VMC.
All works well (ie, live TV, recorded programs, etc...)

I have ripped my DVD collection to the media center (VOB files) and use MyMovies to catalogue present them in the VMC interface.
They play fine through the VMC direct, but not via the xbox360 extender

Does anyone know what I need to use to convert them so they ware supported and playable via the Xbox extender?

Thanx

Dave

Re: Video file conversion to view on Xbox360

Are they single VOBs? You could convert them (quickly) to plain MPEG2 (.mpg) in VideoReDo.

Re: Video file conversion to view on Xbox360

Thanx Justin, I think they are just VOB's, I'll try that :-)

...or download VOB2MPG and convert the VOB's to MPG which the 360 will play natively.
