Capturing Xbox 360 gameplay with MCE?

I want to capture what I see on screen of my tv to a video file to put on youtube.

I have a Hauppaugge Nova-DT (Dual tuner Digital)
It only has the arial socket in the card.

I tried to attached the xbox 360 (RCA connecters) to a vcr then output that via coaxial to the tuner.
Scanned for services and nothing came up?
Is this because it is digital?

Alternately I have a old hauppage pvr-150 with arial socket and rca inputs. I tried to installed it and tried u-lead 9.0 but it could not find the tuner

I know the brains trust is quite large here, any ideas?

You'll need to use another application to capture it. Something like DVBViewer might work.

The PVR 150 will do it, but you will have to remove the digital tuners, unless you want to setup MCE to recognise 3 tuners with a combination of digital and analogue. I suspect this may get a little tricky for you. At the end of the day MCE can support your PVR 150 and the dual digital, but that is likely to be the long way around.

As dgaust suggests, it may be best to leave MCE alone, install the PVR 150 hardware and access it via a different application.

I think this maybe my only option. the only draw back is my box only has 2 pci slots and these are contained with the tuner and a wireless network card

I will try this and let you know
