Xbox 360 As An Extender

hey guys i was wondering now that ive got Transcoder 360 and My Movies playing friendly and displaying divx dvds throught my xbox 360 i thought i might start the tv side of things and was wondering if anyone know if it is bad to leave the xbox 360 on all day (turn off during the night) cause i want to use it as my extender in my lounge room. Also anyone have any good extensions for VMC that work on he xbox 360.

I use the Xbox360 as an extender in my main viewing room and it's left on most of the day (off at night) with no consequences so far. It is even inside a cabinet to keep the noise down, however, the cabinet is vented with two silent 120mm fans so the Xbox stays cool. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be kept on as long as it's in a well vented area.

Ive been using my 360 as an extender for the last 2 years (one of the main reasons i got one) with no problems - apart form the rings of death the other week so i purchased another one as an intrum intil the first one came back from warrenty repairs. Ive now got one in the bedroon as well acting as an extender my is usually on in the evenings. the one in the bedroom has the wireless adaptor attached to it and streams with no problems to the VCE in my studion with no problems. id recommend it.
