XB360 UPDATE TODAY - No new features

I noticed I had to install an update today that appears to do nothing, at least nothing appears documented that I can find.
Unfortunately a few people are claiming the update caused their 360 to RROD . Mine updated with no trauma.
See here for more details

Why don't they fix the 50Hz HD issue - I can't believe that it's taking them soooooooooo long to get around to this issue. How hard could it be? Tehere are other people in the world M$$$$ that use the PAL TV system!!!
