I have searched the forum and can't find anything similar.
I've just built a new AMD 64bit vista Ultimate machine which is to act as a media center only. Its all configure and working well.
The problem is on my xbox 360 when i load it into media center it will not play divx files. The vista machine will play them in media center and if i share the files on vista with media player i can play them on the xbox 360 outside of the media center component.
The error i get indicates there is a problem with the codecs but this doesn't seem to be right since i can play the files on both machines in different manners.
