Vista - 360 Must Not Break

Recently I picked up 360. Simple to set up and connect to your pc they say. They lied. I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium connected via cable to an Open Systems 842RLW. The Xbox 360 is connected via wireless. In Network and Sharing Centre I can't see the Xbox but when I view the network map I can. WMP11 doesn't see the Xbox either. Every time I run the extender setup in Windows Media Centre it fails to find anything. I've made sure Windows Firewall is set to allow for extenders and don't have any 3rd party firewalls. Can't find how to setup port forwarding for my router.

Re: Vista - 360 Must Not Break

I don't know anything about your router (Open Systems?), but the wireless to wired bridging on the router is usually the issue with your symptoms. It's usually a firmware update or finding the correct UPnP setting on the router.
