wow ok mine came back yesterday, got home from work and there was the little pick this up form the post office thing in the mailbox, and I had to rush out to make it before it closed

but yeah it came back and so far all seems good.

I have decided to lay it down instead of stand it u p as if its a heat issue that is loosening the parts on the motherboard then hopefully gravity will help rather than work against me this way.

one thing I didnt say when I sent it off, my Xbox had always had this intermittent issue with the DVD drive, quite often you press the button and nothing happens, and you have to mess around pressing the button and trying to catch your fingernail under the door to help it out.

Now this was not an issue largely as I almost exclusively use the xbox as a media center extender. But it was nice when it came back to have a fully working DVD drive that has yet to jam so maybe they do just replace everything. and I hope none of you end up with my old DVD drive

Mine has taken 6 business days to get to their service center this time, one day to be serviced and is now on it's way back (shipped on Wednesday). I guess I don't expect to see it until next week some time.

A little disappointing as last time the entire turn around was 6 business days I think.
