Lose Internet When Conected To Media Centre?

I'm having a small problem when using my 360 as an extender.
Basically I'm running vista and 360 is wired via a netgear router. Everytime I connect to media centre I lose internet conection to the PC??

Have you run the network test from the XBOX? (Maybe the XBOX is configured for a fixed IP address which happens to be the same as your PC)
