XBOX 360 Random "No TV Signal".

My media center rig: QuadCore 4400, 3x avermedia a16a, 750 GB western digital, 2GB RAM. - running Vista.
On my media center PC --> No issue with "No TV Signal".

On my xbox 360 extender, occasionally I get No TV Signal.
Also when browsing "Guide", and then this "No TV SIgnal happened" --> the extender will then freeze.

Anyone have this issue? Absolutely no tv signal problem however on my PC & when watching recorded tv absolutely no problem at all...

Thanks...

Re: XBOX 360 Random "No TV Signal".

Do you think this is TV card related. I don't think it's signal related. When watching life tv I very rarely gets this - only 1 occasion I think, but it happenes quite a lot when I'm browsing my guide & TV is overlay behind - after around 1 minutes.

Could you please try when at home - i.e., brose guide for say 1 minute while watching life tv? does this happen to you too?

I dont know if it would be TV card related, as it works fine when viewing directly from VMCE, but has happened on the odd occasion while using 360 as an extender.

Re: XBOX 360 Random "No TV Signal".

I've encountered the "No TV signal" on the XBOX MCX on one occasion when the VMC 'lost' the TV channels. So I performed a re-scan of the TV channels and it started working again. No issues since.

Try a re-scan and see how it goes....
