DTV and Analog TV Works (TOGETHER)

Thanks Lester I'll give this a go. Should simply setting up the TV signal again redetect the tuner (and hopefully the analogue side) or do you think I'll need to use MCE reset?
Cheers, Steve
Damn, I think you're right. Was just about to try when I dug out the box and realised it the tuner doesn't do analogue, as you say just the analogue input. Oh well will have to wait a couple of months til I build my new media centre with a digitalnow quattro
At this stage with the Quattro-s I can only get FM and the AV inputs working; I'd dearly love to get analogue tuner also as it's all thats transmitted here but it wont even attempt an analogue scan properly on a fresh build ATM. If I find a way of beating it I'll let you know.
Lester,
All I want to be able to do is run tune DTV as I am now and use the analogue AV input for foxtel using IR blaster and the tricks mentioned in this thread to get both working simultaneously. Is this possible with this tuner?
If the above plugins help MCE recognise your AV input on the card, yes it is.
I am not sure though if you can record one and watch the other, as I use a separate card for the AV in of Foxtel (PVR250)
Give it a try and see if you get the selection of Cable, Satellite or DVB. If you do, you can select Sat or DVB, then select digital if using DVB, to use your AV input.

Unfortunately it didn't I still get no option for cable/sat when configuring the tuner with the mainconcept encoder installed. Thanks for the help though, it was worth a try.
After a fresh rebuild and installing the Main Concept encoder, I got nowhere for a while until after a couple of days I got the PC on the internet and let some updating go on; then opened up MCE and tried to set up the tuners. The Quattro-S will do FM and analogue TV through MCE now! YAY! now all I have to do is get my satelite stuff working somehow.
