Where have I gone wrong? HVR/Vista errors/issues

Pretty much Vista with all updates, HVR2200 with full updates

2 problems

1) (was exisiting prior to HVR install)

everytime I go into media center and go into something i get the error
"APPLICATION FAILURE"
"A critical Windows Media Center process has failed. Please restart the computer and try again. If the problem persists contact your hardware manufactuer for assisstance"


2) (after inital HVR install paper) after I said I have 2 tuners it crashed and every time i try and change the setup tv signal, i get problem 1 then
"TV Signal Setup, will change existing yay/nay"
then error *crash*
"Media center has stopped working. click online/restart program"

I'd say the first problem is leading to the second. Have you tested your RAM?

nah im very doubt full its hardware its MC/drivers
