Can't play 2 dvr-ms files in a row in WMP
Hello all,
its been chilly here in the south over the last few months and I have been watching much of the TV recorded on my Vista MC PC from my bed, on my XP laptop, as its the warmest spot in the house (in fact the lappie makes a very good bedwarmer!).
I simply open the files from a shared directory on the VMC box via wifi.
This was fine until a couple of weeks ago. I finished watching one show and double-clicked on another file - and WMC on my laptop threw a fatal error. Since then, I can only watch one dvr-ms file per laptop-boot-up. To put it another way I must restart my machine after each show.
I assume its a codec issue - I can watch as many AVIs (for instance) in a row as I want - but I'm not sure how to trouble shoot it and I don't know what caused it to start.
Has anyone seen this before?
