WMC extender not working

I posted the below on the Microsoft community boards - perhaps someone here can help?

I connected as said, changed network to private and continue to get the same
problem. I notice that I can see the xbox360 at all times but can only see
the extender whilst the xbox is trying to load WMC, then it disappears and
the xbox says there isnt enough bandwidth.

Ive checked the Event Viewer and the only thing that I can see is an
Information alert under Application, Event ID 6003, "The winlogon
notification subscriber <TrustedInstaller> was unavailable to handle a
critical notification event."

Details:

Re: WMC extender not working

There was a similar problem on here a little while ago with a different router and the solution was to turn off IGMP-SNOOPING in the router control panel.

Your router is slightly different, and it doesn't have that exact setting but it does have a IGMP Proxy setting in there which might be causing the issue. Try looking at the settings in there, and if it's on set it to disabled.
