Hey Guys!

I'm excited - just browsing media center themes (http://www.mediacenterthemes.com) and found out the public beta is now out!

Cheers

Re: MediaCenterFX BETA 0.8

cool !! gotta check this out I've always wanted a green theme for my vista mce Green is very calming !!

If this app turns out the way Im hoping it will, It will be a must buy

edit: tried it - app looks and loads great. Not many custom themes available for download yet....and I cant be buggered making my own
But otherwise looking *really* good.... this will be super once people get some nice themes up.

nb. registration reqd to download the beta

Re: MediaCenterFX BETA 0.8

Nice. Used the MCE 2005 version and made quite a few themes... I get bored easily

Will have a play and see how it goes...

Re: MediaCenterFX BETA 0.8

awesome....someone has just put up some vista that basically keep evereything teh same but change the colour.... green, slate and starburst(orange), pink, turqoise and a 'royal' blue theme that is reminiscent of 2K5(if youre into retro)

Re: MediaCenterFX BETA 0.8

As the program becomes more popular, more themes will be available. When the alpha launched there were NO themes. When the public Beta launched, there was like 4 themes.

Now we got about 20. In time there will be hundreds.

cool. The man himself

Nice to see you around these parts Blizo

Love that slate theme. Green theme has one tiny glitch in it but otherwise lovely too..

Now all we need is a lovely black version of the ones above.

Re: MediaCenterFX BETA 0.8

I don't particularly care about the colour, I just wish I could rearrange some of the buttons on the interface.. ie Video's on the main up/down menu rather than Pictures..

You're right - does anyone actually use the pictures function? Videos gets used far more, closely followed by Recorded TV then Guide.

Re: MediaCenterFX BETA 0.8

lolz...just because *you* dont use it doesnt mean others dont.

I use it a liitle bit(travel pics to show friends), but i know a good handful of people that dont have any vids on their MCE....just photos and music(and transient recorded telly)

I'd actually like the 'videos' bit with "TV and Movies", and leave pics where it is

But this sounds more like something mce customiser could aim to do... im sure MCFX main function is skinning the shell ??
