new vmc install and ffdshow

I have just installed my htpc with vista ultimate 32bit and have read lots of posts regarding ffdshow.

Which version is the best and can somebody give me a link for it. I have googled and there are lots of versions and confusing.

Also any tips regarding settings in ffdshow will be great too.

Cheers

Re: new vmc install and ffdshow

This is a reliable place to get it.

Just get the plain version, no SSE/MMX.

Also get Haali and configure ffdshow to do AC3.
