Build 5381 with XBOX360 Extender Support Released

FYI -

Vista build 5381 with XBOX360 Extender Support has been released on the connect site. (You will need a valid XBOX Live Account to use this beta from what I see - and also some features are not yet 100% like 3d UI support)..

For those who don't know - this is the first public beta release of Vista with Extender support.

There's some readme's on the connect site with more info. The updated 5381 MCE SDK is also available..

I'm downloading it at the moment so don't know if its good, bad or ugly...

I dont have a xbox360 - so someone please try it out and post some feedback here..

I will be getting the public Beta Release (or later if MSDN has one

In the mean time I am playing around with my XBox360 as an extender in-between playing PGR and Ghost Recon

Can't get my BRP EPG to work

Guess if there is no way around it I may be just waiting until Vista Beta 2 public release or a un/supported X-box 360 workaround is available

Hey guys I'm running vista beta 2, still no support for xbox360 as a media centre, that absolutely blows. And no I've had no luck finding a work around to the region 1 stuff either. Again america sh!ts on the rest of the world, thanks USA.

Im running Vista 5472 and it connects to the 360 fine.

Only problem now is getting drivers for Dual my NOVA-T 500's

My boss has it working with his single tuner and works pretty well. The mini-guide absoluty kicks ass!

Definatly some nice improvements thats for sure.

If anyone finds any working drivers for the NOVA-T's then please drop me an email or PM. Thanks
