S3 sleep + Remote = rebooting sleep mode

Frist Post. Love this Community!

When ever i sleep my media center it will straight away wake back up.

I have worked out that if I untick "Allow this device to wake the computer" on HID keyboard in device manager it will sleep fine however then I can't wake the computer with the remote.
I'm sure there must be a simple answer.

I am all googled out on this problem hence my question to the peoples.

Any Ideas?

Edit: Remote and receiver are Brand: Digitech Model: XC-4889 (from Jacar)
BTW: Using a Logitech Harmony with the receiver

You will need to post your Mobo make / model and BIOS setting for suspend / wake for anyone to really be able to offer much.

Have you tried using the MST standby tool. It resolves alot of these sorts of issues

Re: S3 sleep + Remote = rebooting sleep mode

I have had exactly the same experience with this remote in 2 completely different systems both of which have had all other sleep/wake issues sorted out. I think it is an inherent problem with the USB IR receiver that comes with the remote. The remote works pretty well apart from this problem.
