vista media centre and nvidia 88000 overscan

Hey, I just installed the new nvidia drivers for my laptop with dual 8800s. and it has a new overscan correction option in it it works fine in normal applications, but as soon as i open media centre, the overscan options are dis regarded and the overscan is back, is there a fix for this?

Re: vista media centre and nvidia 88000 overscan

Are you sure you dont just have the zoom at the wrong setting? Info/right click & select zoom.

Other than that, try re-running the video set up wizard & select flat panel.

Re: vista media centre and nvidia 88000 overscan

Thanks, but these did nothing, still getting overscan.

I was getting overscan on everything before the driver updates, but with the new drivers i can change the overscan options, but they only hold until i open a full screen app.

What a load of rubbish - Nvidia have had overscan correction for 50Hz since the 169 series drivers (December 07) & had 60Hz overscan correction for much longer than that.
