Vista SP1 64bit shortcut key for tuner record status ?

built my first htpc
  • Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 G0 ES
  • Scythe Ninja Mini
  • Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R
  • 512MB Gigabyte HD3650
  • ATI DVI to HDMI adaptor (borrowed from my HIS HD3850 accessories)
  • 2x1GB OCZ PC2-7200 Gold
  • 2x 500GB Seagate 7200.10 SATA
  • Pioneer DVR-215 20X DVDRW SATA
  • Hauppauge HVR-2200 Dual Digital/Analogue TV Tuner PCI-E x1
  • Logitech Harmony 525 Universal
  • 450W Corsair VX-450 PSU
  • Lian Li PC-V350B Micro-ATX Cube
  • Vista Ultimate 64bit SP1 with MCE

when i'm recording 2 channels on HVR-2200, and try to switch to a 3rd channel, MCE prompts me to view the recording status of both tuners and gives me an option to stop either tuners from recording.

but question is there a shortcut key to manually bring up the recording status for both tuners rather than try switch to a 3rd channel ?

thanks

George

Re: Vista SP1 64bit shortcut key for tuner record status ?

There is no specific "recording status" view as far as I know, but of course you can always flip to Recorded TV or the Guide (this will show you what, if anything, is currently recording...if you see two separate red dots, then your tuners are maxed out).

Re: Vista SP1 64bit shortcut key for tuner record status ?

of course you already know about Rec TV and the guide...

the conflict screen which allows the quick selection between recording choices, is not independently accessible.

good luck!

Astro.
