A couple of the highlighted issues have been really bugging me - if they've fixed these I'll be happy...

Improves the performance in calculating the ‘estimated time remaining’ when copying/moving large files
Improves the performance when copying or moving entire directories containing large amounts of data or files

Here's some that could relate directly to media centre PC's...

Increased reliability and performance of Vista when entering sleep and resuming from sleep
Increased compatibility with many video drivers
Improved quality of playback for HD-DVD and Blue-Ray disks on large monitors

Does "Increased compatibility with many video drivers " perhaps mean they will finally fix the disabling of screensavers bug with VMC / WMP? - that would earn me many WAF!

In the OPs link: Funny to see so many people complaining about installing pre-release fixes and having problems. esp "I hope I dont have to reinstall" comments. Sif you wouldn't backup beforehand...
