According to Microsoft, customers will be able to make choices between editions based on features they require.

Pricing for Windows Vista packages is as follows:

Home Basic $385
Home Basic Upgrade $199
Home Premium $455
Home Premium Upgrade Academic $179
Home Premium $299
Ultimate $751
Ultimate Upgrade $495
Business $565
Business Upgrade $379
