Lanching Games from Vista Media Centre Menu

Hi People,

I知 sure I知 not the first to do this so want to hear how other people have approached it.

I have a Super Nintendo emulator running on my Vista Media Centre PC. What I would like to do, is to be able to launch the emulator and / or specific game from the Media Centre menu system using the remote control.

Does anyone know where I can start with getting this to happen?

I知 thinking I need some kind of addin that lets me add a menu item to the Media Centre main menu with sub menu options that launch a specific application I configure. Does such an addin exist? If not I知 thinking about making one myself. Does anyone think this would be useful?

Cheers,

bmach

Just making sure it worked for you...and I'm hoping to finalize the new version in the next day or so.

worked great for me thanks! the only part that confused me and i couldn't get working was the "automatic update" button. i had MAME configured and everything but it didn't seem to find any games or do anything. It worked when i registered the games just like any normal sega rom though.

Many thanks!
