Keep receiving No Data Available with TV Guide

Anybody having this problem? Have to go to Add guide Listing every several days.

Sometime some channels guide will only show No Data Availble and I have to go to add it again. After added it may work for a few days sometime may work longer and happened again.

Re: Keep receiving No Data Available with TV Guide

Yes having similar issues over the past week or three. I suspect there's a glitch in the data scrapers and every now and then a 'syntax error' corrupts the whole xml compilation.

But hard to tell, maybe someone out there knows....

Cheers

Re: Keep receiving No Data Available with TV Guide

yep same problem here over the last few days... I recently switched my epg source to oztivo so I might switch back to free*epg and see if that works. I'm over the whole configuration process though!

Re: Keep receiving No Data Available with TV Guide

Yes, same problem. Has been happening on and off over the past few weeks. Over the past week, is now a daily practice of adding guide listings to 2 or 3 channels. Was previously confined to the HD channels, but now SBS and ABC are loosing their guide data.

The problem is now, Im missing several tv recordings because the guide wasn't right. Now having re-attached the guide data, seems to have mucked up on some series recordings on the channel association. For some reason they won't record intermitently and I either have to reschedule, or change it to record from any channel.

I'm currently using Free EPG with Oz Tivo feed. I was going to try changing to the Free EPG feed but have been relectant to do so, since it means alot of work setting back up my scheduled series recordings. At the moment it's pretty unreliable so may have no choice.

Is this problem confined to Free EPG?

Re: Keep receiving No Data Available with TV Guide

Oh in that case not only me.

More people having the same problem, so must be the guide itself.

Thanks for the information.

Re: Keep receiving No Data Available with TV Guide

Got home last night and all but 2 channels had No Data Available. Had to add listings to channels for the second time that day.

Have now changed over to the Free EPG stream (as opposed to the Oz Tivo one). Hopefully this will make a difference. I think from what I can gather, the Free EPG stream is now the one to use since it is based on the Oz Tivo one but with extra regular program data added for HD channels.

Will report back in a few days if it is working ok.
