discsvc keeps changing

Hello,
I've been trying to get the vista guide changed over and the discsvc keeps changing but not to the the microsoft setting but to savage.org.za/epg/....

What keeps changing it from localhost? The guide I've been following is here
http://www.tvxb.com/doc/Vista-Blader...structions.htm

Any help would be great

James

Re: discsvc keeps changing

Id:

You mean the discSvc value in the registry is changing?

20 questions....
1. So you followed these instructions below?
2. Do you see anything that looks like errors when you perform these steps?
3. After restarting keep key - if you restart regedit is the keyvalue still the localhost one?
4. Does it then change to ...za later - that would imply you're talking some step (probably running a script) that's disabling keep key and updating the regkey).

Cheers

Mike

Type "net stop keepkey" to make sure keepkey is not running yet.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Start configuring the TV Guide in Media Center

Start Media center -> Setup -> TV, TV Guide Setup
Select your region, click next etc.
Stop when you get to the screen asking for your postcode or area
Minimize media center

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Freeze the epg source as BladeRunnerPro

Run regedit and change the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Media Center\Service\EPG\discSvc registry key data to:
http://localhost/Native/GetTVServicesMetaInfo.html

Start keepkey from a command prompt window, run "net start keepkey"
