Duplicating channels in XMLTV file

I'm looking to find a program to duplicate channel listings within an xmltv file.

I have searched all over and have been unable to locate anything that will help.

I'm looking for something similar to Monster's HDIt from BladeRunner Pro v3.5 (unfortunately HDIt doesn't seem to work under Vista).

Does anyone know of a program similar to HDIt that works under Vista?

...or Monster, perhaps you would consider rewriting HDIt to be Vista compatible?

Regards,
jmccl

Re: Duplicating channels in XMLTV file

Found this over at DVBOwners.com.

http://forums.dvbowners.com/index.php?showtopic=7064

Guidedog is a program by Uryan that lets you:

Quote:
  • download from a http source or use a local file, unzip if necessary
  • change the channel id's and display names for each channel
  • Duplicate or exclude channels
  • Amalgamate multiple sources
  • correct the times on a per-channel basis
  • set the timezone that the times are expressed in
  • prevent shows from overlapping
  • run a program or call a http address before and after processing
  • append subtitles to the titles
  • try and correct some ill-formed files
...and it works perfectly under Vista.

Setup is quite straightforward (took me 10-15 mins) and destructions are included in the download.

Worth a look if anyone needs to process xmltv files.

Regards,
jmccl
