should it be this hard?

ok having problems getting reliable epg in my location.

problem is i live in broken hill NSW

main free to air channels are gts-bkn 7 and southern cross ten

i am currently testing icetv on a month trial, and understand that i have to go off of sydney channel 7 and 10, there are a lot of differences in programming between these channels,

also the epg seems to be an hour out.

broken hill's goes on the south australian time zone, so we are 30 minutes behind the rest of nsw.

is anyone able to advise me on how i can get a funtioning reliable epg. i dont mind paying for it either.

thanks in advance,

Mick

Re: should it be this hard?

Sorry, but I don't know of any that support the regionals properly. That's the problem with this silly EPG copyright thing in this country. EPGs are only provided by entgusiasts or cpompanies like IceTV. Neither have the resources to do all regions, so they stic to capital cities and major regions.

For your time issues, perhaps using the Adelaide guide would be better for you. I don't think there's a huge difference between the stations for Sydney and Adelaide.

Also, post on the IceTV forum, perhaps they might be able to advise better.

Sorry, can't give you any better news I'm afraid.

Re: should it be this hard?

hey

I don't know much about this but for MCE 2005 there was an offset plugin if the timezones were out. OzTivoTimeOffset in the downloads section.

I dunno, Just an idea
