Code 21 Error on OzTivo feed via Free*EPG at the moment?

I've just started getting a Code 21 error (package mismatch) today when trying to update via Free*EPG using the OzTivo FTA guide data. The Free*EPG supplied data works fine, however it's not a great option for me since I live in Tasmania since it only lists the major Syd/Melb channels, not the regional ones here which vary slightly from the programming of the others. OzTivo has all the channels so I'm hoping it will start working again soon!

Given that the other guide downloads and works fine, I assume that it must just be a glitch (temporary I hope) with the OzTivo feeds?

Can anyone else confirm this?

Cheers

Re: Code 21 Error on OzTivo feed via Free*EPG at the moment?

Hi,

I'm getting this as well. Not sure when last succesful guide update was. Was re-doing setup of guide listings. Now I got nothing! Error is:

'File validation error - mismatched guide package. code: 21'

Anyone got any ideas?

thanks,
nick

Re: Code 21 Error on OzTivo feed via Free*EPG at the moment?

Thanks Nick - sounds like it's probably an issue with the OzTivo feed via Free*EPG rather than a setup problem. For the moment I'm using the Free*EPG guides but they don't seem to have region specific channels and also are missing quite a few shows so I'm hoping OzTivo will be back online soon!

Re: Code 21 Error on OzTivo feed via Free*EPG at the moment?

id say it's an issue at freeEPG, as i've been using freeEPG OzTivo FTA feed for a while, and it's only been in the last 24 odd hours or so that this issue has appeared, there was no change from my end. I doubt it's an issue at OzTivo, as all of thier SD data is 100% filled right upto this Saturday.

yeah I have had this error too.
The way I fixed it was to reinstall FreeEPG and reset the guide in media center.
I have also found that it happens when my internet connection is under load.
Hope this helps

nah, my 1.5mpbs/256kbps ADSL is 100 % idle when the EPG download was attempted, i do notice however that the freeEPG web site is extremely slow to respond, i'd be guessing that their monthly download limit has been exceeded and now they are traffic shaped to low speed, it's not the first time this has happened to free EPG.

All other web sites I get transfer speeds = wire speed. 1.5mpbs/256kbps

hhm lets see, at about 1st or 2nd Aug will start working again.
