I have a ATI Radeon 3650HD 1GB Video Card and it has 2 DVI ports and an S-Video port on the back of it.
I have a Logitech G51 Stereo System for my computer.
** I Want to buy a 30-40inch HDTV 1080p and be able to get sound out from the TV to my stereo system.**
(in other words I want to be able to be watching TV and get sound from my PC stereo, and when I watch a BlueRay movie from my computer and still get sound from my stereo)
Sorry to say that your video card will not give you audio out. If your video card supported audio over HDMI (i.e the DVI port supports audio), AND your mainboard has a SPDIF digital output, AND the video card comes with a the SPDIF cables and a DVI to HDMI adaptor that allows for the audio to be passed through it, AND if your TV transferred that audio from the HDMI input into it's analogue surround sound outputs (which it probably doesn't have), then you'd be OK, but I suspect none of that is true in your case.
Your speakers have a stereo input and a surround set of analogue inputs. So you can use surround sound from the PC, and then a stereo output from the TV.
Another way would be a surround sound switch box to choose between Tv or PC, but a bit messy, and also would require the TV to have the appropriate outputs.
Cheers

Only if your mainboard (or sound card) has a SPDIF digital audio output. The video card should then come with a cable to connect the sound card/mainboard sound digital connector into the audio input of the video card. The video and audio are mixed inside the card and spat out via either a HDMI connector, or a to an HDMI capable DVI connector using a custom DVI-HDMI adaptor which also carries the audio. Most of the 9xxx series nVidia cards include these options, not sure if your ATI one does, I suspect not.

It's only with nvidia where you need to use the SPDIF setup.
I have a HD3850 with native HDMI port and it supports audio.
Beware that many people have had no luck getting audio to work using a DVI to HDMI dongle on ATI cards. It should work but it depends on the particular setup.
ATI cards have a varient on a Realtek audio chipset built on...if the manufacturor decides to put it on.
I run a HD2400XT (and a pro) which used a DVI->HDMI adapter and they would do audio with no line in for the motherboard spdif.
so, if your specific model supports it, then it would work. ie, and ASUS 3650 might do it, but a Palit 3650 might not...depends on what ASUS/PALIT/GIGABYTE/SAPPHIRE put on the card.
*EDIT - also, it depends on the dongle/adapter used...some work with sound, some don't.
however, i don't quite follow what you want to do.

so, TV Sound = Logitech G1
BluRay Sound = Logitech G1
why bother with HDMI? i don't think the G1 supports HDMI, does it???
or, do you mean for TV you want your TV speakers, and BluRay you want your Logitech G1???

Oops that'll show me up as an nVidia fanboy..... good to know that about the ATI cards, nice feature.
But either way, I think it'll come down to what I said before...
Your speakers only have a stereo input and a surround set of analogue inputs. So you can use surround sound from the PC, and then a stereo output from the TV, but only via analogue for both.
