Integrated Graphics & Video Cards?

Hi there,
I have an ACER T300 desktop PC which is fitted with Intergrated Graphics.
I now know that IG leaves a lot to be desired and wish to install a dedicated Video card which will suit my needs.
I am not an avid Gamer but do have a few programs like Cue-Ball and Golf which are not very big in size but still tend to freeze up the PC. (Assuming this is the problem?)

Can someone suggest which would be a suitable Video card and approximately what I would expect to pay for it.?

I am getting a bit long in the tooth but not quite yet braindead, I am PC savvy to a point but would appreciate any help someone can afford. Would it be adviseable to get an IT expert to install such a device?

Thanks in advance, Old Guy in Warnbro WA.

Re: Integrated Graphics & Video Cards?

Hey Old Guy,

What video card you will install depends on whether your motherboard has an AGP or PCI-e x16 slot. From doing a quick google of your Acer it looks like it is AGP

Is this you PC?
