Question Aerial Booster required?

Hey
I now have a picture and audio on my media center. Yay for this forum.

Now I am wondering about aerial boosters. When watching TV through MC, the TV signal drops out for a few sec and then re-appears. I am pretty sure that this is a result of my TV signal.

I live in a set of townhouses. In my lot, we have 5 units that share 1 aerial on the roof. I dont think that I can access the aerial to put a booster up there so I was wondering if there is something around that I can plug into my end that bossts the signal. When watching HDTV on my Panasonic Plazma, signal is perfect etc. Maybe this has a little booster in the TV and need something like this in front of my computer?

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do??

If you only have access to inside then to boost your signal you are looking at something like one of these

Re: Aerial Booster required?

Yeah, boosters can be good if your signal isn't quite there, but they can't work miracles. I haven't used the DSE one, but the Kingray (Jaycar) model sorted out my problem where I needed to feed 4 tuners.

They're best used when you need to split signals (where you lose signal strength in a passive split) rather than just boosting the signal, but they sometimes save the day.
