How to compare cards GeForce 6150 and GeForce 6600?

Hi guys,

I have a ASUS M2NPV-VM with built in GeForce 6150 and also a spare Gigabyte GV-NX66256DP2 (GeForce 6600 with 256MB DDR2 memory) and was wondering which one is the best and if it worth fitting the Gigabyte card?

Can anyone make a recommendation a good web site that compares different cards or make a recommendation of which card is better?

thanks,

F.

Re: How to compare cards GeForce 6150 and GeForce 6600?

Go to the Nvidia website - am sure they'll have a comparison wizard there and if not I am CERTAIN you will find in the section that deals with PureVideo a comparison chart for all their GPUs with it.

Not that you really need to - I can assure you hands down that the 6600 kills the 6150 - has around twice the processing capability that it does.

Plus won't eat into your system RAM and leaves your CPU free to get on with other more important stuff.

Very easy decision.
