changing resolution .. nvidia

hey..
just upgraded from a Hyundai (!!!) very old tv to a new panasonic 32" lcd... just plugged it all in as i had it set up before (composite) and the resolution is out,..

went into nvidia control panel - i have a nvidia gefore 6150 card.. but it's obviously not detecting the screen as it just has the highest resolution as 1024x768.. while i want to set it to the screen's default of 1366x768.. this was a never an issue on the old 4:3 screen as i just used all of the default settings...

anyway i can force the resolution change...
or should i use a different connection method..???

i have all the inputs on the tv.. but slightly limited outputs on the actual video card..

Re: changing resolution .. nvidia

Are you still using composite? Most video cards assume that TV out is 4:3 only.

The 6150 has a DVI port doesn't it? A DVI or DVI>HDMI cable is probably your best bet. You might have to do 1280x720@50Hz with overscan correction (you'll probably end up with 1216x684).
